HUNTR/X Performances in Real Life
When it comes to Kpop, what could be even bigger in 2025 than BLACKPINK solo projects, a hit single, and a world tour comeback? We’ve got three words for you — Kpop Demon Hunters.
Kpop Demon Hunters (2025) is an animated film that follows the members of a demon-hunting female Kpop group called HUNTR/X and their rivalry with a demon boyband for the hearts and souls of their fans. Astoundingly, the film has become the biggest movie of the year, with more than 236 million views to date (Netflix).
The soundtrack for Kpop Demon Hunters has a lot of popular hits, such as “Soda Pop” by the Saja Boys, “Free” sung by the voices of Rumi and Jinu, and of course, “Golden” by HUNTR/X. “Golden” has become so much bigger than Kpop Demon Hunters itself and it’s only continuing to go up, up, up.
The song has had such a huge cultural impact that it has been nominated for Song of the Year at the 2026 Grammys and there has been a demand for more live performances of “Golden” by the singing voices behind HUNTR/X. Imagine being part of a Kpop movie that became so popular that your fans demanded you to become Kpop stars in real life — because that’s exactly why we have started to see more of Ejae, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami this year.
