Creativity is a loaded word for Asian women. In essence, we know it's good. But the good connotations are buried under a mountain of stereotypes and warnings. Overachiever Magazine got the opportunity to sit down with Sarah Kim, the woman behind the popular Instagram account, @jetsettingoddess. She was born as an only child to Korean parents, who immigrated to Canada, whom later became monks when she was at the age of 9.
Tara Sonali Miller (she/they) is a writer and educator living in Portland, Oregon. Tara’s current work is at the intersections of racial equity and community engagement in higher education, writing and celebration by and for queer and trans Black, Brown, People of Color, and Indigenous communities, community organizing, and political education.
